Data controller
GATE C, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 537 788 226, with its registered office at 18 rue Singer, 75016 Paris, is the data controller for personal data collected through gatecconsulting.com.
Data collected and purposes
Contact form: we collect your name, email address, company, role, and the content of your message, in order to respond to your enquiry. This collection is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.
Newsletter sign-up (via Mailchimp): we collect your first name and email address, in order to send you our bi-monthly circular economy newsletter. This collection is based on your consent.
Website browsing (Google Analytics): we collect your IP address, the pages viewed, the duration of your visit, and the type of device and browser used, for audience measurement and website improvement purposes. This collection is based on your consent to cookies.
Contact form (Google reCAPTCHA): we use Google reCAPTCHA to analyse your interaction with the contact form (movement, browsing behaviour) to protect it against fraudulent or automated submissions. This collection is based on our legitimate interest in securing our tools.
Recipients of data
Data is shared with GATE C’s teams and, where applicable, its technical processors:
- Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC), for newsletter management
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA), for audience measurement and contact form security
- LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, for displaying social media widgets and buttons
- Hostinger International Ltd, for website hosting
These providers may be located outside the European Union, notably in the United States. In that case, the transfer is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another recognised mechanism ensuring an adequate level of protection.
Retention period
- Contact form data: 3 years from the last contact
- Newsletter data: until unsubscription
- Audience measurement data: 13 months maximum
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, object to its processing, and issue directives on its fate after your death.
